| October 24 & 25, 2009 Sat. / Sun 11AM - 4PM SAANICH PENINSULA STUDO TOUR (studio #21 on map) Muse Winery (formerly Chalet Estate Vineyard) - Sidney BC 11195 Chalet Rd N. Saanich Living on Piers Island is an amazing place for an artist. From abundant wildlife to stunning seascapes there is a never ending reason to paint! The downside of course is it isn't as easy to visit my studio! The perfect solution of course is to hold my shows at the Muse Winery! The well-lit and spacious gallery along with a large variety of award wining wines is truly a great combination. I will have the whole gallery this year for the studio tour and plan to show several brand new paintings, remarques and giclee prints. Because of the extra available space, I plan to bring some smaller framed pieces. Whether you’re looking for a romantic seascape, a mysterious abstract or a whimsical cow painting, there will be plenty to choose from. | November 20 - 22, 2009 Fri to Sun OUT OF HAND CHRISTMAS SHOW Crystal Gardens Victoria BC *New Location!!! Across the street from it's historic location at the Victoria Conference Centre, the Crystal Gardens promises to add new variety and intrigue. Out Of Hand is the largest high-end Christmas show in Victoria offering a huge variety of hand made crafts and artwork. It has been a few years since I've participated in this event and I am looking forward to the new location. Show hours are: Fri 12 noon - 9PM Sat 10AM - 6PM Sun 10AM - 5PM For more details check out the Out OF Hand web site. |

| December 12 & 13, 2009 Sat, Sun A CHRISTMAS INSPIRED Muse Winery (formerly Chalet Estate Vineyard) - Sidney BC 11195 Chalet Rd N. Saanich This annual event provides the perfect gift choosing opportunity for the special ones on your Christmas list. In a world of cheap plastic knock-offs, everyone appreciates getting something hand made from a local craftsman. Meet the artists and enjoy work by sculptors Craig Benson and Paul Harder, myself Barry Tate, photographer Dave Hutchison, glass artist Pauline Olesen, goldsmith Terry Venables and kelp weaver/sculptor Grant Warrington . The winery will also have on hand a wonderful selection of wine gift baskets perfect for clients, hostesses and friends. Basket themes include Chocolate Lovers, Bath with a Glass (a.k.a. The Girlie Basket) and Gourmet Delights. And of course, the Tasting Room will be open throughout the show, so you can leisurely take in the art with a glass in hand. Galleries:Galleries play a vital role in the arts community. Although I would like to show my work in more of them, art shows and direct marketing consume enough of my work that I am limited by practical supply. My current galleries and related outlets are all wonderful to work with. They are supportive, enthusiastic and fun. All have a good sense of integrity, which is so important to long term relationships.
