Hakai Pass, Hakai Land And Sea    Hakai Pass railing
HAKAI PASS
Just north of Port Hardy and part of the famous "inside passage", this fishing camp is located in one of the most pristine natural areas of the world. Ardent fishermen often arrive by float plane to enjoy some of the best salmon fishing around.

Hakai Land And Sea looks after this particular section. Note the amazing hand rail. It is made from natural drift wood complete with all it's curles and twists. Almost more amazing is that it is disassembled and rebuilt again each year to avoid distruction from the winter storms!
