Totems and Twilight totem pole painting west coast indian
TOTEMS and TWILIGHT
The Haida were one of the most well known first nations tribes during the initial contact with European explorers. Culturally rich and diverse, there presence will be forever immortalized by their unique art which decorated totem poles, long houses, dug out canoes and more.
Fearless, they would venture out in all kinds of weather and times of day. This painting depicts a twilight sojourn, perhaps to fish for a passing run of Sockeye.

ORIGINAL PAINTING:
16"x20"  acrylic  on 3/4" clean-edge canvas.
A clean-edge painting can simply be hung "as is" for a modern contemporary look, or by using an optional frame that suits your decor.

GICLÉE PRINT
Giclée prints are the best type of reproductions available today.
They are supplied with a double acid free mat and foam backing board. All you need is a common 16x20" frame.

Mat options are:
silver gray with dark blue inner mat - nice traditional look that fits well.  A mid to dark colored frame looks best
dark blue on dark blue -  dramatic and bold look, very powerful. Best with a light colored frame like metallic or wood.
white on white - traditional gallery choice, classy and elegant.  Goes with all decors. Best with a mid to medium dark frame.
